Wendover News is a VAT-registered monthly A4 colour newsletter founded in September 1989 to serve Wendover and its surrounding villages. This web site, together with a Facebook page and Twitter feed, is an extension of the print edition of the newsletter, making Wendover News content available to a wider audience.
Wendover News is available at a number of locations in the town and is also delivered by volunteers to addresses in and around Wendover.
The sizes of print advertising are shown in the Rate Card which can be downloaded below or obtained by emailing email@example.com. Repeat advertisements for 3, 6 or 12 months attract an increasing discount.
Please contact us if you need more information about a web listing, web directory page or web advertisement. Web advertisements run in conjunction with print advertisements. Small web advertisements are 214 pixels wide (about 5cm/2 inches) and appear on the side bar of the website. Large web advertisements are 680 pixels wide (about 10cm/4 inches) and appear in selected sections of the website (associated with news stories or items of interest, for example). Advertisers who place adverts in the print edition for three months or more or who are members of the Wendover Chamber of Trade and Commerce are entitled to a free listing on our “Local Businesses” section online.
All charges for advertisements and entries are payable in advance and payment can be made electronically to our bank account or by cheque payable to Wendover News Ltd. Cash payments can only be made in person at our offices which are above the Florence Nightingale Hospice Shop in the High Street.
The best way to send material to us is by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Attachments should be sent as files in .doc, .docx, .pdf or .jpg formats and not embedded in other documents. You can also deliver material by hand or post to our offices.
