The Wing Singers
The Wing Singers, Wing’s own community choir, was formed in January 2015 and meets for
rehearsals on most Sundays during term time in Wing Village Hall, starting normally at 5pm.
Membership of the choir is open all age groups, with no auditions or musical experience
needed. See the website (below) for details and, if you might be interested, just drop in and
Jill Neenan, a Wing resident, is the choir’s Musical Director. She is a professional soprano
who has performed inter alia at the London Palladium and the Schönbruun Palace and
celebrates 30 years of teaching music this year. Jill runs a full-time private practice from
home, teaching singing, piano, flute, theory, GCSE A Level Music support and Aural
training. She is passionate about music in the Community and this choir; her ambition now is
to get everyone singing!
