2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 7.30 pm in the Library Room, Wendover.

Our meetings in January are:

10th ‘The legacy of Titian in 17th century European painting"
This is a not to be missed evening as we will be having a talk by Peter Humphrey who was Professor of Art History at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and has written widely on Venetian painting in the Renaissance.  We have been most fortunate to have him agree to give us this talk.   Titian was one of the most influential painters of his time and this is a great opportunity to hear an expert in this field talk to us about the influence that Titian had on 17th century European painting.

24th A working evening following the talk on the 10th where we will try to create our own Venetian masterpiece.

We meet in the library room in Wendover at 7.30 pm.  Visitors are very welcome whether a painter or just interested in art.  We do have a visitors fee of £3 which includes tea/coffee and biscuit.
