May Half Term at The Story Museum

Whether it’s magic, storytelling or the chance to get creative, we have plenty of fun activities going on during May half term, including our Wizard of Oz-themed Drama Blasts and our ever-popular Crafty Magic Story Time – listen to a favourite story and then enjoy a craft activity based around that story. This month’s featured stories will be Hey Presto! and The Magic Porridge Pot.

If you are looking for activities to entertain the children over the summer holidays, why not join our Summer Story Makers for a week of stories and activities plus the chance to win a Discover Arts Award? There are two brilliant week-long courses featuring Viking Myths and The Jungle Book, as well as exciting day courses on storytelling, prop making, comic book making, graffiti, music and break dance.

And for fabulous days of family fun, join us for a Story Safari in our fantastical Pumpkin tent at the Oxford University Natural History Museum on Sunday 26 May at the Oxford Festival of Nature and for Alice’s Day on Saturday 6 July when we’ll be celebrating the much loved Wonderland stories. Our theme this year is ‘time’ – so don’t be late!
