Youth Outreach Event at RAF Halton

As part of the Armed Forces Community Covenant, Buckinghamshire County Council asked RAF Halton to organise a Youth Outreach event to engage with children from the local schools and introduce them to the Royal Air Force.

Raising a Glass for Local Charities

The Aston Clinton Beer Festival, now in its third year, not only provides the opportunity to try a range of ales and ciders produced by local brewers, but also a weekend of free entertainment for all the family at the village park. On top of that, the festival supports local charities and, since its first event in 2012, has raised over £10,000 for good causes in Aston Clinton and the surrounding area. Last year, more than a thousand people came along and enjoyed the fun.

PACE celebrates opening of new Centre on Wendover Road

Having laid the inaugural brick almost one year ago 7-year old Sonny Pikett from Aston Clinton led the celebrations at the opening of PACE’s new Early Year’s Centre last Thursday 20th March. The new facility at 156 Wendover Road, Aylesbury will transform the lives of many children with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, and is the first phase of a continuing development on the edge of Aylesbury, near Stoke Mandeville.

Card skimming device found on cash machine

The Wendover Neighbourhood Policing Team is asking residents to be extra vigilant after a card skimming device was found on the cash point outside Budgens in the High Street, Wendover. It is unknown how long it has been there for and Officers are working with the staff at Budgens to look through CCTV to try and identify the offender/offenders.
