There are plans to move the reconstruction of the Turing-Welchman Bombe, the electro-mechanical device used to decipher enemy Enigma messages during the Second World War, to a new location on the Bletchley Park Estate -- Block H, the home of The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC).

4500 old style street lights to be replaced

Transport for Buckinghamshire is continuing its county-wide streetlight replacement programme over the next few months with a further 4500 old style sodium lanterns being replaced with the more environmentally friendly and longer lasting Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) lanterns.

At their meeting on 2 February 2018, Thames Valley Police and Crime Panel approved the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner’s proposed precept for 2018/19. However, Panel Members were concerned about continuing pressure on police resources and recruitment issues being experienced by the Force.
