Armed Forces Day . . . and flags in central Wendover

  |  Published: Jun 24th 2013

The Union flags went up again in central Wendover this morning.  This is part of the build up to celebrating Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29 June at Aylesbury Rugby Club, Ostlers Field, Brook End, Weston Turville, HP22 5RN

It is your chance to thank the Armed Forces Community in Buckinghamshire (including our local RAF Halton) something that the county is proud to support.  Volunteers are needed, so if you can help, please get in touch.

This year, the committee is pleased to announce that Misha B will be appearing as the headline act on the main stage along with Fiona Harrison and The Outcast Band amongst others. There’ll be a host of other entertainment as well - the fantastic band of the Life Guards, a climbing wall and zip line, a great air display featuring a Spitfire and flypast from the Red Arrows, hot air balloon rides, stalls, an under-5s’ village, food and refreshments.
