Celebrating the Queen’s 90th

A public service of thanksgiving and celebration of The Queen’s 90th birthday is being held at St Mary’s Church, Aylesbury, on Saturday (April 23) at 2pm.

The civic celebration will be introduced by Buckinghamshire County Council ChairmanBill Chapple OBE.

Bible readings will be led by Lord Lieutenant Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, High Sheriff Milly Soames, and Bill Chapple, and Bishop of Buckingham the Rt Rev Alan Wilson will give the address.

A trumpet voluntary will be played by Max Farmer, the Lord Lieutenant’s Preferred Bugler.

Bill Chapple said: ‘This is such a great opportunity to honour The Queen’s dedication and commitment to the people of our country, with some rousing hymns and gratitude to God. I hope many residents of Buckinghamshire will join us.’
