The nominees for the prestigious What's On 4 2016 Junior Awards have been announced - and a Chesham mum who runs local classes for the under 5s has been nominated in the 'most outstanding activity leader for under 5s in the south' category.

Caroline Woolnough, who runs Hartbeeps sensory, play & music sessions for babies and pre-schoolers  has been nominated in the awards programme which celebrates the best activities, classes, volunteers and venues from throughout the UK as nominated and voted for by the experts - parents and parents-to-be.

Hartbeeps has also been nominated as the best national pre-schooler development activity (2-5 years), and best national baby and toddler development activity (newborn to 2 years).

Hartbeeps classes use state of the art music technology, over 100 original songs (including funky re-works of classic nursery rhymes), and sound effects as a platform for theatrical and multi-sensory mini productions. Sessions also include innovative and unusual props, puppetry, baby signing, dramatic play, dress-up and musical story-telling.

Each and every children's activity, party venue, entertainer and volunteer from throughout the UK had the opportunity to be nominated and the number of nominations this year reflects the support from the nation's parents for these exciting awards and their eagerness to reward the very best!

From now until 11 May 2016, parents can vote for their favourite from all of the nominees which have qualified using this link: http://www.whatson4littleones.co.uk/award-voting.asp

Caroline says:

"I am absolutely overjoyed both to be nominated for Outstanding Activity Leader (south) and for Hartbeeps as a company to be nominated in two other categories.  I love the work I do and I’m thrilled that my customers love Hartbeeps too, it means such a lot to me.  As a company we work really hard to make sure that the classes are just that bit different to others that people can go to and to stand out from the crowd, this nomination means that we can stand out even more.

"The awards are across the whole country so even to be nominated is great and we are thrilled to have got this far.  If I, or Hartbeeps get further still, I’d be over the moon!"
