Chilterns MS Centre Chairman of Trustees steps down

The Chilterns MS Centre regrets to announce that the Chairman of Trustees, Stephen James, stood down both as chairman and a trustee on 11 February 2019 for personal reasons.

The Vice Chairman of Trustees, Tony Winterbottom, will take the chair until a new chairman is elected by the board.

Stephen has been actively involved with the Centre for many years and his wife, Beverley, is a long-standing member.

Stephen James said, “Through my wife’s visits to the Centre, I have been involved for more years than I care to recall. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, providing more services of greater quality, to more people affected by MS and addressing a wider spectrum of their needs.”

Tony Winterbottom commented, “On behalf of the board of trustees, I would like to thank Stephen for the great contribution that he has made to the charity both as chairman and as a trustee. He will be greatly missed but we know that he will continue to be a great supporter and a regular visitor to the Centre.

We will inform you as soon as a new chairman has been elected by the board. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact
