Sunday 27 April 2014. JPR fitness organised a Fun Run to raise money for John Hampden Infant School. 50 adults and 50 children were involved despite the inclement weather.

Raising a Glass for Local Charities

The Aston Clinton Beer Festival, now in its third year, not only provides the opportunity to try a range of ales and ciders produced by local brewers, but also a weekend of free entertainment for all the family at the village park. On top of that, the festival supports local charities and, since its first event in 2012, has raised over £10,000 for good causes in Aston Clinton and the surrounding area. Last year, more than a thousand people came along and enjoyed the fun.

End BUST with a Boom!

Wendover Rotary’s BUST project of collecting unwanted bras for women in the third world and raising money for Breast Cancer Care has been running for nearly three years now and will be closing at the end of June 2014.
