Happy Easter Everyone!

Thank you very much for your continued support of Lindengate!

The first three months of the year have flown past!  But we've made great progress - there are more people coming in to use the charity and even though it's early days for everyone, we've had great feedback.  And thanks to the very generous donations received, we've managed to get the deer and rabbit fence sorted and also make improvements to the site drainage - fingers crossed no more flooding!

We couldn't have achieved this without support from the local community - here are just some of the local community groups who've helped us so far this year:
 - Rotary Club of Wendover & District
 - Wendover Evening WI
 - Chiltern Society - Wendover Woods Conservation Group
 - Chiltern Rangers
 - Aylesbury Lions
 - Vale Countryside Volunteers
 - St Mary's Church, Wendover

Thought you might be interested in the events we're running over the next few months - take a look below for more information.  And we've just had confirmation that the Mikron Theatre Company will be visiting us on the evening of Friday July 17th - get the date in your diary - we'll get further details out to everyone, once the arrangements are all confirmed.

If you want to get more regular updates of what's happening at Lindengate then please see our Facebook page - and please "Like" it too!

Lindengate Spring Fair
Lindengate is holding its inaugural Spring Fair on Saturday 18th April from 2pm - 5pm @ the Lindengate site.  This is a chance for the community to find out all about Lindengate, have a look round the site and enjoy the activities and refreshments - bring the family for a fun and happy afternoon!

There will be lots to see and do including a display of vintage tractor ploughing, steam engine displays, a working forge, a number of the local conservation groups with bats and butterflies and there will be demos by local craftspeople.

....... and Shankydd and Joey (Donkeys) are coming along with their friends from Road Farm, Countryways.

Refreshments will include tea and homemade cake and a hotdog stall supported by Loaf and Larder...with our very own Lindengate Sausage!

We hope that you'll join us and we look forward to welcoming you amongst the community of Lindengate.

Lindengate Workshops
We're going to be running a series of evening workshops starting on Wednesday April 15th, 7pm - 8pm @ the Lindengate site:
 - Mud Matters - The Importance of Soil Preparation, Wednesday 15th April
 - Japanese Gardens and their Philosophy, Wednesday 29th April
 - Love Your Lawn, Wednesday 13th May

The recommended donation for each Workshops is £5.  Booking is essential, as numbers are limited, so if you would like to attend, please let us know at least a week before the date – Email jane.gellatly@lindengate.org.uk or Call 0208 1444 291.

Details of these and any future Workshops will be posted on the Lindengate Facebook page.

And finally.........

do you have any shrubs that you've never got round to planting in the garden? or any that you no longer need?

Now that we've got the deer and rabbit fencing up we can start on some real gardening & will be starting on our "small gardens" - any shrubs or perennials, for that matter, would be gratefully received!
