Ryan Meredith, Human Resources Co-ordinator at Aylesbury College, recently completed the Great North Run in Newcastle. He completed the 13 mile course in 1 hour 25 minutes and 11 seconds – finishing an incredible 352nd out of 57,000 runners!

Ryan, who started with Aylesbury College as an apprentice, raised over £600 for The Stroke Association, including many donations from his colleagues at Aylesbury College.

He said: “My grandmother suffered a stroke three years ago so I wanted to raise money for The Stroke Association and awareness of the amazing work they do. I’ve only run one half-marathon before this, but I’m already looking forward to running the Oxford Half Marathon in October.”
