Universal Care opens its doors for visitors

Beaconsfield based Domiciliary Care Agency, Universal Care, is celebrating National Carers Week by opening its office to any carers and family members to come into their office at 9 Windsor End, Beaconsfield on the afternoon of Thursday 12th June in conjunction with local Parkinsons UK group.

In advance of the event Universal Care staff have combined with volunteers from Greenfingers Charity to make over the small courtyard attached to their office.  Greenfingers are a charity which designs gardens for children’s hospices but this will be an unusual project for them as they will themselves be carrying out the real practical work of renovating a site.

Universal Care Chairman, Peter Cullimore, said that his Managing Director Trudi Scrivener will be forsaking her normal role to help ensure that the renovated area will be able to be used by carers and their loved ones the following week.

Further information can be obtained from Peter Cullimore or Trudi Scrivener on 01494 678811.  There will be photo opportunities on 12th June between 14:00hrs and 16:00hrs at our Carers Event.
